Entries for the 2024 Salon des Refusés Exhibition are now open.

We are pleased to invite all welight art student to participate in our upcoming Salon des Refusés exhibition. This exhibition is specially curated for young artists who have participated in art competitions over the past year, such as the Little Darlings Youth Portrait Prize, Young Archie 2024, Mosman Youth Art Prize 2024, or Northern Beaches Environmental Art and Design Prize, but were not selected as finalists.

We recognize the incredible talent and effort that goes into each artwork, and we believe that many outstanding pieces deserve to be seen and appreciated. This exhibition aims to encourage and celebrate the creativity and dedication of our young artists by giving them an opportunity to showcase their wonderful work.

​

Due to the limited space, only the best 80 ARTWORKS will be selected and exhibited in a major Exhibition at Welight Art Space from 21 July to 18 Aug 2024. The winner will be announced at the official opening on 21 July 2024.

​

The judge is Jingzhe Li.  Who has an impressive background as an art critic, artist, writer, and curator. You can read Jingzhe's profile here.

We would be honored to have your child’s artwork featured in this special event. If you are interested, please sumbmit the entry. Please note that each student is limited to submitting one piece of artwork, and we encourage them to choose the piece they feel is their best. Deliver the artwork to Welight Art Space by July 6th. This exhibition is open only to students of our school.

Entries close 5pm, Saturday 06 July 2024. Late entries will not be accepted.
