7 Finalists Selected for Young Archie 2026

We are incredibly proud to announce that 7 Welight students have been selected as finalists for the Young Archie 2026.

The Young Archie is one of Australia’s most prestigious youth portrait competitions for artists aged 5 to 18, and is regarded as the junior counterpart to the iconic Archibald Prize. Finalist artworks will be exhibited at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, one of Australia’s most respected and well-known art museums.

Our finalists come from different classes, artistic styles, and teachers, reflecting Welight’s commitment to nurturing individuality, creativity, and artistic excellence across all ages and backgrounds.
