7 Students Selected for Festive Art Competition 2021 - Willoughby City Council

Willoughby Council is organizing a competition to celebrate Christmas and New Year in the local area. They encourage children to create artistic works with the theme of Christmas or New Year. The winning artworks of all the children will be printed as banners and displayed at various train stations in the Willoughby area.

We are delighted to announce that seven young artists have been selected as finalists in the "Festive Art" drawing competition.

Due to the lockdown in Sydney during the competition period, the teachers from Welight Art assisted and guided the children in completing their artworks through online classes. In the end, a total of seven children won the competition and were invited to attend the Christmas lighting ceremony at The Concourse on November 19th. The Mayor of Willoughby personally presented the awards to the winning children.
