The Young Australian Art Awards, founded by the Children's Charity Network, has a history of 15 years. The competition aims to develop and encourage the artistic talents of Australian children. Every year, a large number of entries are received from students all over Australia, making the competition highly competitive. Many prominent companies such as CBA, BIC, and Dymocks sponsor various awards in the competition.
This year, a total of 6 students and 8 artworks were shortlisted for different awards in the competition, including Drawing, Painting, Computer Art, and Photography. Furthermore, one of the children received the Judges' Recommendation Award and had their work featured in a nationally distributed magazine. Their achievements were remarkable.
